Valencia
Valencia is the ideal metropolis to learn Spanish in Spain. With its 800,000 inhabitants, is the third largest city in Spain and is located next to the Mediterranean sea. Here, tradition and modernity merge like in no other place and its inhabitants communicate an unforgettable feeling of happiness and kindness.

Valencia

Valencia benefits from an exceptional climate with 320 sunny days per year. Valencia does not experience the winter rains which are common in the north of Spain; nor the strong summer heat found in the south. With its mild winters and moderate summers, Valencia enjoys an annual average temperature of 18ºC. The Valencian coast covers a length of 485 km. High quality beaches can be found in more than half of this area. Year after year, Valencia has been awarded with more than 100 Blue Flags (Banderas Azules), which are UE's seal of quality regarding environmental conditions and facilities. This situation makes our city leader of the whole territory in the amount of Blue Flags awarded. Therefore, it is the perfect scene to learn Spanish under the shades of palm trees. The city of Valencia possesses one of the prettiest and largest urban beaches in Europe, the Malvarrosa.

Numerous parks and palm groves make Valencia a very green city. Several gardens and sports facilities now reside in the dry riverbed of the Turia river, which was diverted several years ago. The City of Arts and Sciences is also located here, it is an essential visit for every tourist.

Valencia has a very well developed infrastructure: an international airport, with connections to all major European cities; a network of expressways, which connect Valencia with the French-Spanish border and the port that invites you to escape to Ibiza and Mallorca thanks to daily ferry crossings.

Valencian economy is mainly based in agriculture, which guarantees 80% of the Spanish production of citrus fruits.

Valencia offers ideal conditions for meeting Spanish people, getting to know their country, their culture and language.
