The Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry Madrid in co-operation with the universtiy of Alcalá de Henares offers special certificates that are reputed in by educational institutions and companies all over the world. Verifying Spanish knowledge in the field of economy and commerce.

The aim of the exam is, to provide companies with a reliable assessment of the language skills of their employees, as well as to promote the dissemination and the study of the Spanish language as language of international communication.
More and more reputable companies and organizations around the world require qualification from their foreign employees. This has caused an increase of applicants and providers of preparatory courses.

Costa de Valencia, Spanish language school is an examination center for the Official Diplomas Official of the Chamber of Commerce Madrid. In our school, you can register for the exams, doing a training course for each of them and implement them in our facilities.

Levels and structure of the Spanish exams of Business

The following examinations for Spanish as a business language are hold by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Madrid and the University of Alcalá de Henares:

Basic Certificate in Business Spanish
Verifying a minimum of Spanish business terms; sufficient to cope with administrative and commercial tasks in a company.

Higher Certificate in Business Spanish
Is based on a good linguistic competence - oral and written - with knowledge of specialist terms in business Spanish related to the fields of trade and commerce in a company.

Diploma of Business Spanish
High linguistic competence with special knowledge of business Spanish – in particular related to economy, right and administration in Spain and Latin America. Requires very good linguistic basis – including specialist knowledge.

Basis Certificate in Spanish for Tourism
Confirms a basic knowledge of tourist specialised Spanish; sufficient to cope with the most elementary tasks and the communication in the tourist industry: hotels, restaurants, etc.

Higher Certificate in Spanish for Tourism
Requires good specialist Spanish knowledge – oral and written – in the field of hotel, restaurants and tourism.

Basic Certificate Spanish in Health Sciences
Recognizes the level of survival in the specialized language of the Health Sciences, with a sufficient level of development of the most elementary of oral and written communication of health care professionals.

Higher Certificate Spanish in Health Sciences
Attesting to a good command of language with technical language skills in the field of Health Sciences, at the oral and written.

We offer preparation courses for each of the following levels: Certificado Básico and Superior de Español de los Negocios, Diploma de Español de los Negocios, Certificado Básico and Superior de Español del Turismo and Certificado Básico y Superior de Español de las Ciencias de la Salud.
• Duracion of the course: The duration of the courses are 4 weeks, 10 lessons a week per 45 minutes.
• Specific courses: Every course is adapted to the content of the examination. If you want to brush up or broaden your knowledge of Spanish we recommend an additional Intensive course during the first three weeks.
• Spanish Intensive course: We recommend the completion of an intensive Spanish course to enhance the general knowledge of the Spanish language. If the level of knowledge of Spanish is less than the level of the title, you will have to reserver an intensive Spanish course of at least two weeks.
• Academical material: included in the course fee.
• Discount: 10% discount if you enrol in a group of 3 or more persons.
• Small groups: max. 8 students in one course, min. 1 student.
• Free Tutorial: There is a teacher at your disposal who settles your grammatical questions..
