All of our flats are situated in the surrounding areas of the school (10 minutes walk maximum) and are perfectly equipped for students to use during their time at the school. In each of them, the student can choose between a single or double room.

Each flat is normally occupied by 4 or 5 students. The students share the communal areas of the flat which are the dining room, the kitchen and the bathroom. This type of accommodation includes a cleaning service whereby all communal areas of the flat will be cleaned. However, the student is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of their own bedroom.

Bills such as water, gas and electricity are included in the price. If you wish to share an apartment with a friend who is not taking part in a course, they will be required to pay 30% more than the prices indicated below. If you wish to share a room with somebody in particular, you need to indicate this on the registration form along with the name of this person.

Students are required to pay a deposit of 150€ for the school’s flats which will be returned to the student on their final day if nothing has happened to the flat during their stay.

During university term time, that is to say from October to June, it is possible for us to place students with Spanish students. For this option students need to inform the school as soon as possible because it’s difficult to find this kind of accommodation for short periods of time or when Spanish students are definitely settled.

This option does, however, ensure total linguistic immersion in Spanish, as the only mode of contact will be through Spanish.

The families are chosen with great care by Costa de Valencia, School of Spanish to ensure they have experience in housing foreign students.

We offer the options of half-board (breakfast and dinner) or full-board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). You will be served typical Spanish meals. Besides this the cleaning of your room and your laundry are services included in the price. Usually, we only place one student with a family so that the only mode of communication is Spanish. Furthermore, this option allows the student to become accustomed to the lifestyle of a Spanish family and learn their routines and customs. The families are situated near to the school (15 minutes walking or on public transport maximum)..

If our students so wish, we are able to reserve certain university residences near to the school. Students can choose between individual or shared rooms, and if they desire full board, half board or just the room. Generally you will be served typical Spanish meals.

The rooms are equipped with bathroom, telephone and in some cases internet access. Also available are libraries, TV rooms, a cleaning service, dining room, IT suite, washing facilities, internet etc.

This type of accommodation is ideal for those who are looking for more independence and privacy whilst still enjoying daily contact with Spanish students. Please bear in mind that during the summer months, Spanish students will be on holiday therefore your stay in University residences will be minimal.
